Fecil Blango - Founder and President
Coach Fecil Blango is currently a IT consultant for Motion Consulting Group. He was an multi sport athlete in High School and played Football for East Carolina University. Coach Fecil has a passion for coaching and helping young men achieve their scholastic and athletic goals. He is currently the Wide Receivers Coach at Julius Chambers High School and Head Football Coach at Piedmont Middle School.
Leland Howard - Executive Director
Coach Leland Howard is a Supplier Resiliency Manager for TIAA. He has over 20 years of servicing the Charlotte Community and has been part of the UC Board for the past 3 years. Coach Howard marries a passion for coaching and education in the city and has been instrumental to the organizations growth and success.
He currently serves as a board member for a number of Charitable organizations including Girl Talk Foundation, National Pan-Hellenic Council and is a current member of leadership Charlotte (Class 42).
Jonathan Grice - Treasurer
Jonathan Grice is a Certified Public Accountant that joined the staff 5 years ago. He played football in high school and later went to study at North Carolina A&T University. He also holds a masters degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University. Coach Grice is a HIGHLY passionate coach who’s currently an Offensive Coordinator at Cox Mill High School where his team has made some deep runs in the NC High School playoffs. His energy and passion for player development is unmatched.
Alonzo Dent - Coach

Coach “Zo” Attended the UNC Charlotte where he majored in Finance. He is currently a Financial Crimes Analyst II at Ally Financial and has 4 years of experience coaching Football. He is currently the Co-Defensive Coordinator at Piedmont Middle School
Mike Brown - Coach

Coach Mike is Sargeant First Class with the SC national Guard in the Combat Engineers division. He has 4 years of youth football coaching experience and is currently serving as the Offensive / Defensive line coach at Piedmont Middle School. Mike preaches integrity and discipline with our young student athletes.
Lamar Jones - Coach

Coach “LJ” attended Buffalo State College. He is currently a AVP for Mergers and Acquisitions at LPL Financial. Coach LJ has been coaching in the youth and high school ranks for 10 years and is currently an assistant Defensive Backs coach at Butler High School.
Carlester Massey

Coach Massey attended Johnson C. Smith where he studied communications. He is currently a counselor for InReach and has 19 years of coaching experience at the youth and high school level. He currently serves as the Running Back Coach for East Mecklenburg High School.
Greg Paylor

Coach “GP” attended Guilford College where he played football. He is currently a Systems Analyst for Continental Tire and has been coaching for 16 years at the Youth, Middle School and High School levels. GP is currently the Head Coach for Forest Creek Middle School as well as Linebackers Coach for Catawba Ridge in Fort Mill, SC.
Carlos Trottie

Coach Trottie attended Benedict College and is now a Inventory Auditor for Costo Corporation. He has 14 years of Youth and High School football experience. Coach Trottie is currently the Offensive Coordinator at East Mecklenburg High School.
Antuan Smith

Coach “Twan” attended Winston-Salem State University where he studied accounting. He is a Retired Military Vet and is currently a Consultant for Wells Fargo. Coach Twan has 15 years of Coaching Experience at the Youth, Middle School and High School and is currently serving as the Wide Receivers Coach for Piedmont Middle School.
